Laissez le bon temps rouler!

The ultimate party calls for the ultimate party sandwich.  A homemade muffuletta sandwich with all the right accoutrements: Jockamo IPA and Amber beer from Abita Brewing Company and Zapp’s Spicy Cajun Crawtator Chips.

Sometimes, you just have to reach outside of the home region for the proper celebratory foods!

Making a muffeletta is pretty easy.  Get a round loaf of italian bread and slice it horizontally.

Spread 1/3 to 1/2 cup of olive salad on the bottom half. 

Layer on 1/4 pound each of sliced provolone cheese, genoa salame, mortadella and copicola.  Add a little more olive salad if desired and top half of bread.  Cut into four or six wedges.
